Ag Student of the Year
泡芙视频app Community College鈥檚 Beatrice Campus has recognized Peyton Schaardt as the 鈥淎g Student of the Year鈥� for the 2022-2023 academic year. Schaardt was previously 鈥淎g Student of the Month鈥� last April. To be selected, Ag instructors look at a number of factors including grades, attitude and progress in the program.
A native of Table Rock, Schaardt chose 泡芙视频app for the hands-on experience, the small-town community and the teachers who have background in the ag industry. She is studying Agricultural Business. After graduation in December, she hopes to find a job within the industry while growing her cattle herd back home.
鈥淚鈥檝e grown up in the Ag industry, and it鈥檚 all I鈥檝e ever wanted to be a part of,鈥� she said. 鈥淲e keep the world moving with agriculture.鈥�
Her favorite classes at 泡芙视频app were Livestock Management and Farm & Ranch. Studying animal reproduction and genetics were some of her favorite memories in the classroom.
鈥淪he is always engaged in class and is willing to help outside the classroom as well,鈥� said ag instructor Alan Rumbaugh. 鈥淪he has a good attitude and is a pleasure to be around.鈥�
Schaardt received a special certificate, as well as a gift card to the Campus Book Store and her picture is displayed in Ford Hall with past recipients.
